I have been on a smoothie kick lately so I figured I would share my recent favorite. You would be surprised how good a green smoothie can be. I was skeptical at first but pleasantly surprised with the flavor packed goodness which is even more fun in a bowl with pretty little toppings!
Add the following to a blender (follow the link to see the Ninja I use) adding water as needed to achieve wanted consistency, that simple!
2 Cup of Spinach (truth be told, I don’t measure! About two large handfuls)
2 Stalks of Fresh Kale
1 Lemon Skin Removed
1/2 Banana (only because I don’t want to taste it but want the potassium!)
1/4 Cup of ice cubes
Toppings: Walnuts, Almonds, Raspberries, Blueberries or whatever fancies you!
